SUGGESTED USES | |
Glycol Diacetate is a high boiling, slow-evaporation ester used as a solvent for resin based inks and paints. In baked vinyl coating it is used as a fugitive plasticizer. It is a useful solvent for nitrocellulose and cellulose mixed esters and for acrylic paints for the automotive industry. Glycol Diacetate is used in foundry as a binder for the preparation of sand molds and cores. Glycol Diacetate has found application as fixative for perfumes. | |
