SUGGESTED USES

Butyldiglycol Acetate is a very high boiling solvent, practically odorless, with a very low water solubility. It is particularly suitable in flash-dry printing inks, stove enamels and as coalescing agent in PVA latex.

Butyldiglycol Acetate is a viscosity regulator for PVC paste since it lowers the initial viscosity and flattens the viscosity/temperature curve. A hardened PVC paste can be returned to the right consistency with a small addition of Butyldiglycol Acetate.
